Who is Eva?

PoisePup started because of her... Eva, our beautiful 12 year old dachshund that has stolen our hearts since we brought her home at 3 months of age. My husband and I had just gotten married and she would be the perfect addition to our family, she was only a puppy, but the amount of love for her was unimaginable.
At only 3 years old, she suffered from ruptured intervertebral disks that left her with paralysis from her back legs, but after two weeks of hospitalization and several months of medication and rehabilitation, she was able to walk again, run again and we were amazed of her resilience, patience and bravery, this happened two more times at the age of 6 and 9 years old  and a tumor that was removed with surgery too, but every time, she showed us that it’s not the amount of times that you fall, but the amount of times that you get back up and keep going forward.

She has taught us so much of life, and our lives wouldn’t be the same without her. We love her with all our hearts and for that reason, we created PoisePup, because of her, inspired of her, to keep her lighting star shining through all our beautiful PoisePup community, YOU! And so, she is in our logo, in our collections, forever there and in our hearts.
